Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey Honor Company’s Community Involvement
Recently recognized for its involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey, PSE&G was honored at the second annual Concert for Kids. For more than 100 years, the company’s commitment to New Jersey has reflected in its many activities promoting the well-being of children and families.
Each year, PSE&G employees contribute thousands of volunteer hours and give generously to aid community youth. “The best investment for a bright future is investment in kids,” says President and Chief Operating Officer Ralph LaRossa from Allendale.
Demonstrating PSE&G’s dedication to the public, Regional Public Affairs Director George Sous from Pequannock has remained an active supporter both within his community and beyond. He is a member of the New Jersey Area Council Executive Committee, serves on the board of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and Somerset County Business Partnership, and has been a board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs for more than 10 years.
The company is proud to support and encourage its employees’ efforts. “Whether coaching sports, mentoring kids or serving in countless other volunteer capacities, our employees mean so much to so many young people across the state,” LaRossa adds. “I am truly inspired by all they do. They are the heart of PSE&G in the community and the best ambassadors a company can have.”
