Yule Tree Farms, a leading nursery and one of the major Christmas tree growers in the United States, is excited to announce the newest members of its national sales team. John Casey of John Casey Horticultural Sales will spearhead the sales effort in the Northeast region while Rick Miller of Wholesale Horticulture, oversees New England. The mid-Atlantic territory will be run by Steve Campbell of Campbell Horticultural Sales and John Manes of J.M. Nursery Services will move product throughout the Midwest and Mountain States. Northeast Division Sales Manager John Casey is equally excited about the opportunity to partner with Yule Tree Farms. “When you have confidence in your product, you can be passionate about selling it. Yule Tree’s patience for quality and excellence, and regard for the environment make them a truly unique grower.”
Yule Tree has twice received national attention with their horticultural innovations; once in 2004 with the introduction of Oregon’s Noble Vintage® – The World’s First Real Designer Christmas Tree and again in 2006 with Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live, a container conifer that can be planted permanently after the holidays. Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live trees are available in a variety of species, each with a different fragrance, shape and color:
• Serbian Spruce
• Norway Spruce
• Balsam Fir
• Nordmann Fir
• Canaan Fir
• Engleman Spruce
• Colorado Spruce
Building on nearly four decades in the agricultural industry, Yule Tree President Joe Sharp oversees the harvesting of more than 500,000 trees annually. “The response to the Oregon’s Noble Vintage fir and Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live has been overwhelming,” states Sharp, “but that was only the first half of the campaign – getting customers’ attention. The second half is our sales team making the product available to consumers at their local nursery.”
Yule Tree has been honored by the Oregon Department of Agriculture for “Leadership in Conservation” and the Oregon Water Resources Department for “Environmental Stewardship of the Land and Water Quality.” This year, Yule Tree plans to plant 50,000 trees in their nursery, located 45 miles from Portland and will nurse more than six million Christmas trees on over 3,800 acres in Oregon’s award-winning Willamette Valley.
