This year’s theme is “Music and Memories” and the night will consist of dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and spectacular musical entertainment.
The Gala will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at The Grove, 691 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ. Cocktail attire is preferred.
Alzheimer’s New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing support, assistance and information to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and their caregivers in New Jersey. The organization plays a crucial role in delivering programs and services to New Jersey families facing Alzheimer’s disease as 100% of the funds raised support local residents.
To celebrate the power of music, Alzheimer’s New Jersey is honored to have performances throughout the night from local musicians, singers and songwriters including Giselle Bellas of Jersey City, Brian Kirk and the Jirks of Red Bank and the Concordia Youth Chorale based in Central Jersey.
“Our Annual Gala is one of our biggest events of the year and it is an amazing gathering of the local community to support a cause and raise awareness of a disease that impacts so many right here in our own state,” said Ken Zaentz, President and CEO, Alzheimer’s New Jersey. “This year, we are honored to be entertained by performers from throughout our state to truly bring our event to life and represent New Jersey.”
Every year at the Gala, Alzheimer’s New Jersey honors individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to advancing the mission of Alzheimer’s New Jersey through the Circle of Honor Award. This year, the organization will be recognizing Volunteer of the Year, Ramsey resident, Stephen Donnelly as well as presenting two Corporate Philanthropy Awards to Chelsea Senior Living and Sunrise Senior Living. All recipients have gone above and beyond in supporting Alzheimer’s New Jersey in their mission to support families facing Alzheimer’s disease in New Jersey.
