Rosica Communications’ President Chris Rosica was a featured speaker at Rutgers-Newark, addressing dozens of students from the university’s Marketing & Management Society meeting. Chris shared his insights on authenticity and how it impacts storytelling, crisis communications, cause marketing, positioning, and branding. All Society members received copies of Chris’ first book, The Authentic Brand. In addition, he donated 100 copies of this timeless marketing book to Rutgers.
To write The Authentic Brand, Chris interviewed 12 high-profile founders of some of the nation’s most iconic brands, including Starbucks, Jet Blue, Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, Kate Spade, Famous Amos Cookies, and Burt’s Bees. He shared their recipes for success – from the entrepreneurs’ perspectives. Chris also discussed how authenticity transcends industries, providing a potent marketing and business advantage regardless of whether you are trying to build a nonprofit, education, healthcare, animal health, or consumer brand.
He then fielded questions from students on the topics of entrepreneurship, public relations, and college internships.
Chris Rosica is president of Rosica Communications, which has offices in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and Burlington, Vermont. In addition to The Authentic Brand, he also wrote The Business of Cause Marketing and The Power of B2B Social Media. A popular keynote speaker, Rosica is a recognized thought leader in PR, digital marketing, online reputation management, cause marketing, and crisis communications.
