Functional and sustainable, American-made tabletop collection
Boating and outdoor enthusiasts can now entertain with style and ease through the launch of Starboard Collection’s Carina tabletop line. Created by avid sailor and entrepreneur Aimee Marti to conquer the unique challenges of entertaining at sea, thoughtfully designed features make dining, whether on the water or on shore, a breeze. Manufactured exclusively in the U.S.A, the Carina dinnerware line currently includes bowls and plates, serving bowl and tray and an appetizer set, with additional products under development.
Strategic features like curved edges and non-slip bases help food stay in its place, while also preventing tipping and spilling. Stackable bowls and plates are designed to fit snuggly together to store efficiently in a fraction of the space and for easy transport from shore to boat or kitchen to patio. The vibrant color palette of Nantucket Red, Canvas and Marine Blue, encompasses the maritime spirit of the collection.
“Our products were designed not only with the nautical lifestyle in mind, but for anyone who enjoys outdoor entertaining, placing equal emphasis on style and functionality,” says Aimee Marti, founder of the Starboard Collection. “There is nothing better than breaking bread with friends and family and this tabletop collection encourages living life with spontaneity and joie de vivre.”
The environmentally friendly, American made dining pieces are constructed from recycled materials, are BPA, lead, phthalate and melamine free and top rack dishwasher and microwave safe. The high grade polypropylene ensures that items are shatterproof, while allowing pieces to be completely recycled at the end of their long life. The collection will be available for purchase online beginning February 2014 at www.starboardcollection.com.
