Metro Marche, the hip mid-town French Bistro located at Port Authority, just gave the city a dozen more reasons to come for dinner. They are currently featuring an international mussel menu of twelve new mussel dishes from cultures around the globe. Just in time for summer, this fresh seafood menu boasts Indian, Thai, Portuguese, Spanish, Irish, Belgium, Moroccan, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean, and of course French Mussels.
“We are very excited about our new international mussel menu. The variety will appeal to both mussel lovers as well as those who are adventurous. You don’t have to travel far to experience tastes from around the world,” co-owner Steve Tenedios said.
Metro Marche is the first restaurant to take part in the revitalization of Port Authority Bus Terminal. The atmosphere is traditionally Parisian, with an imported zinc bar and cherry red and yellow walls. Metro Marche serves up great French food at gentle prices, and executive chef Simon Glenn, formerly of Spice Market, has created a menu with something for everyone.
Metro Marche is located at 625 Eighth Avenue at 41st Street, at the corner of NYC Port Authority. Open for brunch Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm, lunch Monday through Friday from 11 am -5 pm; dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 pm – 11pm and Friday and Saturday 5 pm to 12 am.
