Long after the pioneers of the Oregon Trail, one group of innovative farmers have become the new pioneers of the famed and fertile Willamette Valley searching for ways to best utilize Oregon’s natural resources. Yule Tree Farms, creators of the world’s first designer Christmas tree, have recently perfected the Oregon’s Noble Vintage® Live, the newest edition to the Oregon’s Noble Vintage product line.
Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live is grown in the Mediterranean climate of Oregon’s wine country using an advanced pot-in-pot technique. This technology conserves water, encourages a thick root system and reduces transplant shock. The tree is grown in a mixture of pumice and compost, along with fine and coarse bark, making it 30% lighter than a normal tree, which allows for easy transport. In addition, because the tree has a tight, self contained root system, it immediately settles in the Earth upon planting.
“These trees offer countless possibilities,” explains Joe Sharp, President of Yule Tree Farms and creator of the product line. “Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live trees can be planted at any time. For instance, consumers can purchase a fir in the summer, enjoy it on their deck or patio through the fall, bring it indoors to enjoy during the holidays, and then plant it permanently in their back yard the following spring to enjoy forever.”
Oregon’s Noble Vintage Live trees are available in a variety of species, each with a different fragrance, shape and color:
Serbian Spruce Norway Spruce Colorado Spruce
Nordmann Fir Canaan Fir Aleppo Pine
Distinguishable by a specially designed hangtag as its stamp of authenticity and planted in a silver pot, the Oregon’s Noble Vintage line is grown under strict supervision, to the exacting standards of expert growers. For more information visit www.yuletreefarm.com.
