Mariano and Willie to be Honored at Kick-Off for World Games
The World Police & Fire Games are coming to New York in 2011 to coincide with the 10th year remembrance of September 11, 2001. The Olympic-type event will have 15,000-20,000 full-time firefighters and law enforcement personnel from different countries competing in 65 types of sports. This is the first time the World Police & Fire Games will be held on the East Coast.
Because planning for the Games requires tremendous commitment and resources, individuals and companies are encouraged to participate in getting it started. One of the important fundraising events being held is the Annual Benefit Gala. Willie Randolph and Mariano Rivera will be honored at a dinner on January 11, 2007 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Sponsor packages for the 2007 Gala are available for all budgets. Benefits range from premium logo placement and opportunities for corporate messaging to photo opportunities with VIPs. Support ranges from an individual ticket of $500 for the reception, dinner, silent auction and program to the Silver Medal Sponsorship of $7,000.
