ENT and Allergy Associates

Established in 1998 when three practices merged with 12 partners in eight locations, ENT and Allergy Associates is a leading U.S. ENT, allergy, and audiology practice, with more than 300 providers and 50 offices throughout New York and New Jersey. The group serves more than 1,800,000 patients annually, offering a wide range of services that include diagnosis and treatment of conditions relating to ear-nose-throat, allergy, asthma, sinus and skull base surgery, voice and swallowing, facial plastics, disorders of the inner ear, clinical immunology, and diagnostic audiology.

The company hired Rosica to promote new office openings, position its physician-KOLs (key opinion leaders) and expert media resources, and create awareness and demand for its services in the communities the group serves.

Our work consisted of developing media relations strategies, media event planning/execution, news release and media alert writing, developing expert tips for media relations, and positioning its KOLs as subject matter experts and go-to media resources for interviews, bylined articles, and op-ed pieces.

Rosica conducted proactive and reactive media relations, including “newsjacking,” which we refer to as  . We also provided PR strategy, media event planning, event execution, and communications support to elevate share-of-voice and secure highly credible/influential earned media results. As part of our public relations counsel and services, we delivered recommendations for influencer marketing, media interview prep, digital marketing, messaging, and crisis communications.

Our work included:

  • Leveraging timely health-related observances such as Ear, Nose, and Throat Awareness Month, National Audiology Awareness Month, Kids E.N.T. Health Month, Sinus Health Awareness Day, and World Sinus Health Awareness Day.
  • Promoting the group’s KOLs to comment on new studies and data (e.g., allergy trends in the region).
  • Promoting the practice in relation to ENT and related health trends.

To secure interviews and editorial submission opportunities, we pitched the doctors best suited to speak on specific topics and secured ongoing earned media results that  include Prevention.com; NY1; MyCentralJersey; and Parsippany Focus.
